4th of July - Boardwalk BBQ, Wilderness Broiler, and ice cream!

Boardwalk BBQ menu
On July 4th I tried the pulled pork sandwich at the Boardwalk BBQ. I chose Carolina BBQ sauce, expecting North Carolina style .  I was surprised to get what I later learned was South Carolina style with a sweet mustard flavor. Not terrible, but I'll try something more standard later. The pulled pork itself was of good quality, without excess fat.

The inside area has two separate lines one for main entrees & drinks, and another only for drinks and desserts.

There is ample outside seating, along with a small stage for entertainment.  The video shows a view of the outside seating area.

Later I got some ice cream from a cart near Charleston Circle. Good quality ice cream, not ice milk or soft-serve. And there was a discount for Knott's passholders!

Supper was at the Wilderness Broiler, where there was a limited-time offering of Mrs. Knott's Fried Chicken. The chicken and mashed potatoes were good; the accompanying corn was too salty for my taste. The burgers at the Wilderness Broiler looked uninspiring.
